We receive your email address and name from Google or Apple Sign-In solely for authentication purposes. We do not display your email to other users or use it for marketing.

1.2 Game Data

We automatically collect the following during gameplay:

• Game results (wins, losses, gammons, backgammons)
• ELO rating and rating history
• Game move history (for game replay and fair play monitoring)
• Friends list and friend requests
• Player tag (a unique identifier assigned to your account)

1.3 Guest Accounts

You may play as a guest without providing any personal information. Guest accounts are fully anonymous, do not require an email address, and are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information — device model, operating system, and version
• Usage analytics — app opens, screen views, and general usage patterns (collected via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash reports — error logs and stack traces to help us identify and fix bugs (collected via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Advertising identifiers — device advertising ID used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads

1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your precise location or GPS data
• We do not access your contacts, calendar, or messages
• We do not record audio, video, or phone calls
• We do not collect financial or payment information

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the game experience
• To enable online multiplayer matchmaking and friend features
• To calculate and display ratings, leaderboards, and statistics
• To display banner advertisements through Google AdMob
• To analyze app usage patterns and improve performance
• To detect, investigate, and fix crashes and bugs
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services provided by Google:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties beyond the services listed above.

4. Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and general device information to serve relevant ads. AdMob may also use cookies or similar technologies.

You can manage your ad personalization preferences:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking

5. Data Storage, Transfer, and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including:

• Firebase Authentication for access control
• Firestore and Realtime Database security rules to restrict data access
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
• Guest accounts: Automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
• Deleted accounts: When you delete your account through the App (Settings > Delete Account), all associated personal data, game history, and social connections are permanently removed from our servers.
• Crash reports and analytics: Retained for up to 90 days for diagnostic purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: View your profile information within the App at any time
• Correction: Update your display name, country, and profile photo at any time
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from within the App (Settings > Delete Account)
• Data portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data
• Withdraw consent: Stop using the App at any time; uninstall to stop all data collection

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

9. International Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, please note:

• Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (by using the App) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the game
• You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
• Data transfers outside the EEA are protected by Google's standard contractual clauses

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
